i believe what you posted was actually very logical. but, what about this? what if you added a little content? i mean, i don't want to tell you how to run your website, however what if you added a title that grabbed people's attention? i mean %blog_title% is a little boring. you might look at yahoo's home page and watch how they create article headlines to get viewers interested. you might add a related video or a pic or two to get readers interested about everything've written. just my opinion, it could make your blog a little bit more interesting.
